Goals for this week

Now to my weekly goals, here you find the goals from last week and Mara from joyful life is a hugh inspiration go over to her blog and link your goals there! Thank you!

I was able to buy nothing only for pleasure, if I thought to be in need of something I quickly reinvented things I already had, it's good to be creative with what you already have and most of time the things I want to buy aren't this urgent.

This goal I will take with me another week, but I allow myself to buy flowers if they cross my way, they make me happy, they inspire me and they come and go, it isn't a material weight I add to my life.

The part of the organizing I faild a little, I just don't find the motivation, because next month we will move and I have to put everything into boxes for this, I just think everytime before organizing a part of our home, that I will do it when I move the things into the boxes. I have done the usual stuff you have to do in a household, but nothing more and I think this goal will sit a while in the back and I will really do it when I put all our stuff into boxes.

But, I love our home and for this I will take photos of every room this days and maybe even a short video for us to remember this period of time, this will be my second goal for the coming week!

My journal writing goes very good, I really enjoy it and will go ahead. It's not the easiest period I'm in at the time, for this it really helps me to clear my thougths and see it from outside. This course of Susannah is a very supportive and helping guide at the time for me and helps me really to develop my writing habit.

Blogging really is a part of this and helps me a lot for my self refelection, to see who I am and to show my real me, without fear.
Thank you for all to follow along, to be there and read my thougths, to send me sweet words in the comments or by email and to be inspired.
I really appericate everyone of you and you see me smile a lot of times during the day, thinking about all the kind humans all around the world.
So supportive and just incredible, this is the way to build a community, to see the beauty in our lives, to love ourself is the first step into a world full of peace and love.

I made this padded leather organizer last weekend and will share a DIY tutorial and a video with you at thursday, so you can set up your own organizer and blogjournal.
A free blog index for an A5 binder is in the work and will be ready at the end of this week!

Protected and weightless, the light shining through the skin letting us this color experience for first, attached to a very nice and special feeling.

- I hardly ever look or read news.
I decided for my life to focus on the good and beautiful things around in the world.
We don't own a TV and only look sometimes a movie when I'm in the mood of it, less then once a month.

Taking photos of all the beautiful moments in between our daily life

I made it a habit to stop between the hours of the day, catching a moment and often catching a photo of it. Breathe in the beauty and feel it deep with my bones. Like this I cultivate a little selflove and try to check in with myself, looking at me with love, accepting myself just the way I am.
Thank you Jane for the weekly love you share, if you want to collect the moments you enjoyed this week you can link yourself to the list.

In my bag

I love it to have a peek inside bags of others and to see what they carry around with them.
My bag is very basic and I always try to not carry lots of heavy things I never use.
What I always carry with me is my phone, the key with my sac knife and the scissor, my selfsewn wallet (I made it with this pattern) and the toiletries matroshka bag that I bought at Accessorize. Often I also change them to another or smaller bag.

My little organizer from filofax where I collect all the ideas and inspirations is like my second brain, because if I write it down to use for another time, my mind becomes free again and I'm more able to stay in the moment and enjoy the things around me. Seeking the beauty on our little trips and strolls.

I love to have something to read in my bag, if it is a magazine or a book does not matter. To stop at a playground, sitting on a bench and reading, while the girls are playing and laughing is just the best thing of springtime!
I often carry a snack for the girls with me, here an apple and a bottle of water.

I have to admit, that the most of times I let my DSLR at home, she is just so heavy to only go to the grocery store and buy some food! Often I also decide to put my 50mm lens on it, this already makes a hugh difference of the weight, but the 28-75mm lens is so much more adaptable for all the situations that cross my way.
I still have a slightly older modell she is a Canon Eos 400D and I'm striving for an update.
Lots of photos on the go and all on my Instagram feed are made with my galaxy note phone. I love my smartphone and to stay connected with it, but try to take regular some time for me and my family, without any other distraction. I also tend to turn off every notification and check it manual for emails and other things.

Gold + teal

I love all sparkling and gold.
The days really smell of summer and the sun is warming our soul.

If I find a new pattern, it isn't an easy decision for fabric and how I want to alter it. This shirt I made out of the same pattern like the dress of last week.
I really was curious to try the same shape in a stretch fabric and until I finished it and still now I'm thinking to make a dress out of it.
I will wear it like this and see if I like it, if not I will modify it in the future.

The pants are from the market here in italy. It is really the best place for shopping, I will miss this so much.

I love the me made mittwoch and want to say a big thank you to all of the team, for the organization, inspiration and love you all share every week. Go and have a look what others made for themself and are wearing today.
Wish you all a beautiful day.

About goalmaking

Making goals and planning is one of the things, I really like to do. I think it forces to grow, to learn always more and to point yourself in the right direction.
But there is this habit of mine, that I make goals, search new systems to be organized and to then set up actually new goals to reach the goals I already made!
It really is at the time to find a goalmaking habit that rally works for me, plans that I will be able to reach, without the need of new organization.
A lot of time I also have the good old problem of procrastination, I'm actually really skilled in this and often I think, that I could reach this goal, if only I would buy this and that or if I learn first to do something other.

I really want to step away of this unproductive habit and downsize my goals so much, that I'm able to reach them without problem. This little steps will bring me at the end to the person I want to be (see this nice blogpost about this theme from dani o buckly), it is the moving that guides us to go where we want, not only the dreaming of it.
Dreaming indeed is important too, it's the best way to dream without boundaries, to imagine the best version of us we can be and actually move towards it.

Mara from joyful life has written a beautiful post about goalmaking last week here, she was my inspiration to write this post and look a little closer to my habit in goalmaking.
She invited already last week to link our weekly goals and make them more accountable by sharing them with others, you are all invited to come over to her blog and share your link with your goals and thougths.

Three things I strive to reach this week are

- To really buy nothing for the pleasure of buying, I want to let go of things and not collecting more
- Organize and clean out one part of our home a day, no matter how big or little, important to start with the flow
- Writing in my journal daily and free my mind

Looking around for a good organization system I found lots of free printables and I love to share them with all of you there is a beautiful weekly planner from Arian Armstrong, a collection of 20 blog planner on fab n free, this lovely blog planner to do list from the blog sew much crafting and this thougths about balance from Blog Milk.
Hope you can make use of one or the other of them and love them as much as I do and I wish you all a beautiful and sunny day.
