Getting the most important work of the day done straight in the morning makes everything so much easier. / Divine light in our living room.

Carring flowers at home as a first sign of springtime that is arriving. / Yes for being brave and starting new things.

Calm afternoon time with coffee is my favourite. / My grandfather was a photographer, I adore him and this where his grandparents, what an incredible gift to have this very old family picture as a keepsake.

More time to make big plans. / Airy living room space.

I found this mistletoe at the lake we live near by. / Vintage playing cards I found at the thrift store are the perfect inspiration.

Let me tell you a little more about my project and my story.

My life wasn't always this love fest. I took the decision to focus on the good side of life and to have a positive view of all what I'm doing. This lead me to wonderful things, I get to know my husband, moved to Italy, we had a second daugther and I learned a new language, italian.
We also moved back again and I'm learning french now.
If I believe in something, I want to go for it. There where just a lot of years in between my life, where I limited myself. I hold back from truly believe in me. I just had always problems to fit in and had my focus so much on being seen or heard. I was hiding and longing to be found.

But there is no one better to see us, then our self, no one knows us better then we know our self.
We have to stand up for our ideas and spread them around the world to be found of others. There is no such magic that this happens overnight and something or someone steps in our life and does the work we are meant to do.

I learned to shift my thinking and see things in a positive light. I became a mother when I was 19 years old. This unfortunately marked me in society and how I was seen in the eyes of so many. For me it was the biggest gift. It pulled me out of a life where lots of shit was going on. Drinking, drugs and giving away all my power.
Becoming a mother forced me to take the responsibility in my own hands. To build a life that isn't brand marked from what is the norm, far away from what others expect or think of me.

Everyone can do it! We have the power to become what we want. We have the freedom to decide and step out of situations that don't serve us and hold us little. We can choose happiness, love and joy. We can choose to dance and we have the strength to take the power over our on life in our own hands.



I love to learn and explore in a playful way, to understand myself better. This guided me to this idea of making a card set and writing a book.

Here comes my weekly overview of my sketches, practice is actually just the best thing to stay in the flow. Taking my pencil daily into my hand. just scribbling, making lines and look what comes together. Like you can see, I like to paint faces, expressions and feelings.

A Loveletter, The Paper Love Blog Hop

As an Artist, paper lets my heart skip a beat.
I really love paper.
The white, thick and smooth.
The thin, transparent and milky.
The natural, selfmade and structured.

Paper is what can hold stories. In form of books, photographs and art.
Blank paper gives us space to create, whatever we want.
We can bring our thoughts out of our mind and into reality, we can save the moment with a photograph on paper we treasure and to express how we feel with colors.

Writing is such a powerful thing, it can help us to be heard. We can use journalling to clean up our head and we can use it to write our future, to make plans and goals. To attract what we want, to make our visions become a reality.

I loved my grandfather, when I was little I was a lot around him. He was a photographer and crafter. I treasure his photographs, they carry a breeze of the past and let me understand his world he lived in.

If we let go of pressure, tension and all kind of selfdoubts and just let flow the colors, lines and structures we can create on paper, this strong medium is the essential for expression.

I love books. Pages and pages of wisdom and stories. Reading a book is like diving into another world and timetravelling. I love stories, and everyone of us has our very unique and beautiful story to share. We all are unique and we all can take a blank sheet of paper and create with it whatever fits best for us.

This is me in one of my first videos, still a little nervous, still a little insecure, but I'm on the way and start at the bottom like everyone else.

I want to share every week a little thing that helps me to create my beautiful life I love, accept who I am and hope I can inspire you to be more happy, look at yourself with kind eyes and see the beauty around and inside you.

Taking photographs with your cellphone

Today I show you a little peek behind my Instagram feed. I have a very new tool and it is a remote for my samsung cellphone, they are linkable with bluetooth and it opens a big new world of possibilties. I can step away and be in the shoot in an easy way.

Then I have a cellphone holder, just a cheap one which helps me to put my phone on the gorillapod.  You can attach this tripod with flexible legs to a lot of different places and other things inside and out your home. 
I attach it to my chandelier to take short videos from upside down, it gives a new perspective and adds interest to your photographs and videos or you use it in a very easy way just together with a stool and you have a basic tripod to take a selfportrait.

The very basic thing is to look for good and even light. Photography is all about infusing light and dark. Contrast and color and composit them in a beautiful and eyecatching way.

I edit my shoots for Instagram with the Aviary app.

There I just adjust a little bit the lighting, contrast, colors and crop it in a way it is eye pleasing.

To stay in the flow, to just move forward and evolve I sketch every day, at least one sketch and to hold myself more accountable I share the sketches with you here on my blog and made this short video with some peeks behind the scenes and where you see the process.

The trend of doing what you love

It feels like it is a trend, to start a business, based on your passion. Doing what we love, all day long, every day of the week. Yeah, it really sounds to good to be true. There we start digging. What does it truly is that I want to do?
What is my passion?

Today the coaches that help you find your passion, are floating the market, there is one for every style and pricepoint.
I get it, I was there! For a short amount of time I thought I can help others find there passion, but I think it was just a normal human tendency to take my biggest interest I had at the moment and thought this is it!
I packed it into two other things I'm very attached, web and graphic design.
I really think I can help others to find their way and help them see what they love doing, just because I went through it, have experienced it on my own and can provide a neutral pair of outside eyes.
I still love to help others make their website, blog and design a beautiful logo or business cards. As an artist I love to see  how the colors, style and ideas come together and I love the stories behind that everyone has to share. We are all so unique!

Yes, passions and things we love are tied together on all different levels, and often all the things we love doing or enjoy, come back to this cause.
Sometimes it is a little difficult to see it for our self, because lot of this things come so naturally to us.
I also think that it is totally okay to not have figured it out yet, just trust in you and what you can!

Love is at the bottom, everything is birthed there. I think love is for so much of us the foundation. I'm a passionate mother, wife, artist and storyteller.
I love taking photographs, because of my passion of selflove and acceptance for our self. Taking beautiful photographs help others and myself, see us with other eyes. See the beauty we have in us. Accept us.
My love for beauty and aesthetic is the root of so much in my live. Fashion, art, webdesign, photography, videography, interior design and creating.
