white for living

Weiss ist für mich wie eine leere Leinwand. Ich mag es, meine Wohnung in diese Klarheit zu hüllen und dann gezielt mit wenigen farbigen Dingen, eine Geschichte zu erzählen. 

White is for me like a plain paper. I like to fill our appartment in this clear and clean atmosphere. Like this I can be a stroyteller with colorfull things and spots.

Ich habe wieder den Farbpinsel geschwungen, einen Hocker und einige Körbe die Ich überall in unserer Wohnung stehen habe, weiss lackiert.

Oft finde Ich auf dem Flohmarkt schöne Körbe, die mir von der Farbe sehr gut gefallen, aber das Holz ist manchmal in einem rotstichigen Ton, welcher mir nicht gefällt und nicht zu unserer Wohnung passt. Diese werden von mir einfach weiss angepinselt und passen dann perfekt zueinander. Dafür verwende Ich ganz normalen Holzlack und Ich mag den nicht ganz so ebenen Look ganz gerne. Wem das weniger gefällt der besprüht seine Körbe ganz einfach mit einem Sprühlack, klappt auch ganz gut und habe Ich schon ausprobiert.

Manchmal wäre Ich ja gerne etwas experementierfreundlich. Ein mintgrüner oder zartrosa Korb würde ganz gut in unsere Wohnung passen. Vielleicht kann Ich mich nächstes Mal überreden und kaufe mir etwas Farbe im Baumarkt.

I painted again, a chair and some baskets in white. The baskets I have all over in our appartment, I like them to storage things.

Often I find some very nice baskets with a perfect shape on the fleamarket, but then don't like the color and don't think it fits in our appartment. This I paint very easy with paint for wood in white and fit like this perfect to each other. I use the normal paint for wood, I like to paint with the brush because it gives a little a unperfect shabby chic look. If you don't like this look you can also use a paint tin with the color you like, it's also very easy and fast, I already tried it. 

Sometimes I would like to be more brave. A mint or pale pink basket would fit very good to our appartment. Maybe next time I'm full of courage and will buy me some colors.
